The Roost • Keeping bonds together
Temporary care. A way back home.
Preserving human–animal relationships when an owner needs treatment, hospitalization, or another time-limited period of care.
Service model in developmentNo intake is promised before capacity, custody authority, veterinary safeguards, insurance, and an exit plan are confirmed. This is not a general surrender or emergency animal intake service.
What guides us
An existing bond is something to protect—not something to replace.
The Roost’s current direction is continuity: safe temporary animal care, communication with owners, and reunification wherever humane and feasible. This supersedes the older map’s broad sanctuary vision. The organization’s service readiness, foster capacity, policies, and safeguards remain in development.
